I served as the president and CEO of PQ Corporation, a global chemicals and engineered glass materials company operating in North America, South America, Europe and Asia Pacific. I serve as Chair of the Board of Trustees of AIM Academy and Vice Chair of the Board of Drexel University. I am the former Board Chair of Drexel University College of Medicine as well as the former Board Chair of the Soap and Detergent Association. I have served on the boards of numerous public company, private company, private equity company and non-profit boards.I have been a speaker on leadership and governance issues at numerous conferences and other events. I have been an invited guest lecturer on leadership at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and at the Close School of Entrepreneurship and LeBow College of Business at Drexel University where I serve as senior executive in residence. My experience and education have formed the foundation of my career. I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering and an MBA degree from Drexel University. As well, I am an alumnus of the Harvard Business School’s Advanced Management Program. I have also served as a member of the faculty of Board Advisory Services of the National Association of Corporate Directors.
