About Stan Tang
After many years working as a versatile Head of PMO/Strategic consultant delivering operational solutions and training to companies across a variety of industries, my current role is now Chief Operating Officer of a digital-first mobile telecoms start up.Shortly after the global pandemic hit, I joined Prenetics EMEA Limited. It was my biggest challenge yet, mobilsing a new PMO function, training inexperienced PMs in tools and processes in a startup company delivering Covid-19 testing solutions. I also planned and launched the first airport testing facility in England along with rapid response teams to various locations within 48 hours. I discovered there are no challenges to which solutions cannot be found.I support Executive Teams to ensure alignment of strategic objectives to programme delivery and ensure all teams are equipped with the right tools and processes. I set up PMO structures and train teams ensuring project management and planning standards are adhered to. I fix PMOs that have been under-performing and ensure delivery assurance across portfolios. Track record of delivery from working on a broad range of complex engagements for a host of clients, including Covid-19 Pandemic solutions via Prenetics, NHS Trusts, BBC Public Service, Department of Health, Health Education England, Eurocontrol Agency (Air Traffic Control), Andersen Consulting @ MCI WorldCom, IBM @ Royal Bank of Scotland, Utilities inc SEEBOARD and nPower, Reuters and O2Established a consultancy in 2006 delivering consistent delivery standards across programmes and projects across the Dept of Health and NHS Bodies with a team of circa 15 consultants. PPM standards were set up and training delivered to ensure adherence within agreed frameworks.Delivery lead on large complex programmes (value: £100k - £500m). Proven ability to deliver & execute in extremely challenging client environments. Co-Founder of Masters Black, a unique and exclusive service combining the skills of two kung fu masters with over 60 years of experience in teaching mindfulness, mental focus and stress management to individuals and corporate organisations. Using the Psychology of Kung Fu, we utilise techniques and teachings from the Far East combined with Western realism to engender personal empowerment.Through my daily Chi Kung training and applying the Psychology of Kung Fu, I have been able to maintain continual focus on these complex and challenging programmes.
