My professional passion work has always focussed on the application of Anthropology and the liberal arts toward the betterment of society at large. As an educator,I am specifically interested in mentoring students for GREEN Career Jobs and Careers.MY CURRENT scholarly projects are as director of a major eco-heritage project in southeastern Ireland, and as a member of Al Gore's Climate Reality Project. I am also a member of the Board of Directors of the East Coast College Social Science Association, where I am helping to organize a series of talks and conference on RaceI have given workshops and presentations and mentor students on HOW THE LIBERAL ARTS CAN PREPARE STUDENTS FOR THEIR CAREERS, at universities and professional conferences such as the National meetings of the Eastern Association of Colleges and employers (EACE), the National Cooperative Education and Internship Association (NCEIA), The National Deans Association, and the American Anthropological Association.Another area of his experience and expertise is ARTS MANAGEMENT and the INTEGRATION OF THE ARTS INTO THE CURRICULUM. I created and developed The Monmouth University Center for the Arts, which connects the performing, visual, and literary with the curriculum through a wide variety. My anthropological research areas also includes BASEBALL AND AMERICAN CULTURE AND HISTORY .
