State Coordinator (Georgia) for the only industry-recognized credentialing system designed to assess core skills, compliance measures, and knowledge sets identified by the biotechnology industry. Worked with state directors from ten other states, culminating in a nationwide PR campaign for FY 2022-23. Advocated and evangelized the need for compliance-based instruction, instructor certification, and performance standards within statewide biotechnology programs. Wrote the state course standards (secondary education) for all three biotechnology pathway courses and managed approval process with the Georgia DOE along with the following articulation agreements. Organized and managed biotechnology teacher training and certification through the IBTE professional training program, administered by Biotility (University of Florida), representing more than 3,000 companies and research organizations in the biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and bioagriculture sectors. Since its creation, BACE has been adopted in 30 states with multiple additional states joining each year.

Program instructor for professional development for Georgia teachers at rural school systems, providing hands-on, immersive bioscience and biotechnology training. The curriculum is built to highlight and leverage the biotechnology that exists within traditional science courses, including biology and AP biology, chemistry and AP chemistry, and environmental/agriculture, using low-cost and readily available resources.
