Hi, my name is Stan. ✨The mission of my wife Aline Kwitunga and I is to empower a generation of (disadvantaged) Congolese children to be the changemakers of tomorrow.In 2020 we founded 4Watoto an international organisation working in both Goma (DR Congo) and Dordrecht (The Netherlands)At 4Watoto we envision an uplifted and flourishing DR Congo. 🇨🇩We believe DR Congo can be lifted to a higher level by empowerment of its children and youth. DR Congo has one of the youngest populations in the world. The empowerment of these unique individuals paves the way for a sustainable peace with more happy and self-sufficient people, a resilient economy, higher living standards and stronger communities. When children and youth reach their full potential, they are able to influence others in a positive manner and that influence will reach way further than the 4Watoto foundation itself. 🌟In short: we allow children, to be children. Living a life of joy, freedom and peace. To be able to develop themselves and their talents, learn skills and receive opportunities. 🕊And we are now building a farm. Chronology of my life:19 April 2000, I was born.2000-2018 A lot of fun, beautiful youth(still having fun though 😉)June 2018 I finished my VWO at Insula College Dordrecht. After that I traveled the world. In March 2020, Aline Rehema (co-Founder of 4Watoto & now my wife) and I started building our project: The 4WatotoHouse.After 3,5 months of building we opened our doors in June 2020. Today, 25 children have access to healthcare, food, education and most important a house they can call home and where they can be child again and live in a family. ✨We are organised as 2 independant organizations. In DR Congo, the children are guided by our team of 18 Congolese professionals. Which include a manager, care-takers, teachers, pedagogue, cooks and security. 7 board-members lead 4WATOTO ASBL in DR Congo. In the Netherlands Stichting 4Watoto (ANBI) focuses on: Marketing, General Affairs, Fundraising, Media and Finance. 5 board-members lead Stichting 4Watoto. My Activities:- Chairman of the Board of Stichting 4Watoto (Voorzitter St. 4Watoto) - Advisor for the Board of 4Watoto ASBL.
