Stan van Santvoort | 23 Years Old | Tech Geek, Social Skilled & Allround Discjockey𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬From a young age, I have always been passionate about tech, communication and business. So I started my pre-university education as a bilingual student at Het Maaslandcollege. After two years, I switched schools because of being bullied and finished my senior general secondary education at Het Titus Brandsma Lyceum with the graduated profiles of Science and Engineering, Science and Health, including additional subjects Economics and Management & Organization. Very broadly educated, because I didn't know at all what I wanted to become.I decided to start the Electrical Engineering course at Avans University of Applied Sciences. Here I quickly found my place within the expertise of Industrial Automation and often took on the role of project manager during the many group assignments we received. After a few years, I noticed that I am especially curious about technology. I want to know in detail how things work so that I can ultimately translate the technology into an understandable story for everyone and at the same time be able to provide answers to everything with my technical background. I eventually discovered during my studies that I didn't want to become a full-time programmer, but my interests lie in communication and marketing within the technical field.𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐫During my last year at Avans University of Applied Sciences, I received the opportunity to become the Social Media & Content Manager of Chiliz, of which I had been an ambassador for a year. I made the hardest decision of my life and quit school to take the opportunity to start my career in marketing for a tech company. This is the best decision I have ever made, and the technical knowledge I have built up helps me in doing my job in marketing. In the meantime, I have been working for Chiliz for two years with great pleasure and I am responsible for almost all content that goes out.
