As the Director of Engineering at Eurora, I played a pivotal role in building and leading an international IT organization within the startup. My primary responsibilities included ensuring the speed, scalability, performance, and security of our API product.Working closely with the product team, I actively contributed to shaping the product vision and overseeing its development. I implemented processes to facilitate smooth and predictable delivery, organized infrastructure activities to meet current needs, and prepared for future requirements.In the realm of engineering, I established the foundation for the Technical Support team structure, incident management, and an internal IT help desk. Additionally, I led efforts to promote security awareness and engaged other departments in the security certification process, resulting in ISO 27001 certification.A significant aspect of my tenure was witnessing the company's substantial growth in headcount, evolving from 20 individuals to over 200+ employees. This expansion provided unique challenges and opportunities, allowing me to navigate and contribute to the company's transformation during this dynamic period. Notably, I spearheaded the successful establishment of the Engineering Hub in Dubai, building it from the ground up and seamlessly integrating it with the existing Engineering organization.

Development of transport management system for overland logistics.Overall project responsible, that includes PM tasks. Project forecasting, risk management, expectation management, reporting. Dealing with various stakeholders: various internal IT teams (systems), process managers, business unit, operations and support teams.Leading four teams in Tallinn, one team in France and one team in Hamburg. Was a first person hired for this project in Tallinn. During first two years hired 30+ people, established and constantly improved development processes.
