JOOLZ is designer, marketeer and distributor of a premium baby stroller brand. I have been since 2007 and been responsible for brand development, business strategy, fund raising and setting up the marketing organization. Since the end of 2008, I am also one of the shareholders. In June 2011, I returned back to the company's operations as the CEO, responsible to accelerate further growth across different markets in Europe and Asia and to enhance the Joolz brand strategy. In early 2012 we obtained the no.1 position in our home market (The Netherlands). We rolled out our success formula across borders and have become one of the fastest growing brands in the premium stroller segment. In 2015 our second model, Joolz Geo, obtained the Red Dot Award, category: best of the best. We grew the company geographically from 1 to 3 continents and now have a wide portfolio of strollers, a buggy, car seat (Joolz, by maxi Cosi) and other stroller related accessories.In 2016 a private Belgium private equity firm bought out an earlier investor. In 2018 and 2019 we rolled out several salesforce clouds to strengthen our e-commerce across several countries. Late 2019 I handed over my job as CEO to become a non executive board member. Responsible for product / market / and client development and a team of 8-10 business developers and market researchers. Managed a product development project for live videocalling between Ericsson, Triple IT, and Endemol: global partnership for Me-on-TV got signed in May 2007. Defined proposition and did strategic sales for joint venture between KPN, Endemol, LBI and others. JV got installed in June 2006 (valued at 40 mEu). Acquisition of large advertiser funded platform deals (>5m Eu). Sales of new products to existing customers and/or distribution partners. International speaking engagements and workshops at conferences and client events. Media experience: TV, Internet, mobile, vrs / sms, dTV, games and (some) e-mail marketing.

Managed executive project team for 30m+ Euros football pitch for Talpa, Versatel, RTL and ECV (registrations of all football matches and production of related TV formats). Prepared content exploitation strategy with 3 local board members and met with all main distributors (cable and telecom). Wrote CRM strategy for Endemol NL, co-selected partner and facilitated implementation. Co-wrote a business plan for the launch of a new platform to replace Call TV (30 h live day-time TV, SMS/VRS). Managed a cross company team (10 p) that developed and tested new interactive TV services and games.
