My name is Stan Wolbers, I am twenty-two years old and study in Groningen, the Netherlands. The study program I follow is called the Academic Teacher Training for Primary Eduation, a combination of Educational Sciences at the University of Groningen and Teacher Training at the Hanze University of Applied Sciences Groningen.I feel it is important to develop myself in the broad sense. That is why, next to studying, I do many extracurricular activities. In previous years I have already done a board year at my study association and was chairman of the student faction of the Faculty Council. This year, I am studentassessor of the Faculty Board, Behavioural and Social Sciences, University of Groningen. In this function, I am the student who advises the Faculty Board concerning education, research, policy, and -of course- students. Also, I have various consultations with student bodies and attend many meetings both within and outside of the Faculty. That way, I learn a lot about differnt perspectives on policy.I am interested in many different affairs, and enjoy thinking about various matters. My dream for the future therefore is to work on a national level to make our education even better.
