Responsible for designing and directing the execution of training and employee development programs. Creates, launches and manages company-wide training and development programs/initiatives. Delivers training. Creates a fully integrated learning organization by developing, aligning and delivering organizational development and training activities to meet business goals. Facilitates and delivers training programs such as new employees' orientation, on-the-job training, sales techniques, health and safety practices, management/leadership development, and adaptations to changes in policies, procedures, and technologies, etc. Participates with other senior managers to establish strategic plans and objectives related to training and development. Build and continually improve process to identify, select, and develop ideas for training and development efforts. Selects appropriate instructional procedures or methods such as individual training, group instruction, self study, lectures, demonstrations, e-learning, simulation exercises, role play, and technical training. Trains managers in effective techniques for training. Researches and selects outside consultants and trainers to conduct training on specific topics as needed or required. Prepare training budget monitor spending against the departmental budget. Drive diversity and philanthropy initiatives and education.
