This required many complex systematic and process changes to automate the cancellation of (tens of thousands of) bookings and creation and deployment of travel credits. Prior to this time, these actions were performed on a per booking basis.HIGHLIGHT: In a new pandemic reality, historical marketing strategies were no longer effective. We introduced a new $1 deposit incentive to drive sales and allow travellers to book with flexible terms. I led the end-to-end technical implementation and execution which included process roadmapping, technical scoping (across multiple systems), internal communications, (some HTML), UAT and post-mortem work. This effort saw an uptake of bookings and we hit our sales targets for the first time since the pandemic.

Adventure travel industry vets know, this is no small feat.
