As VP of IT, I am responsible for outlining the company's technological vision, implementing technology strategies, and ensuring that the technological resources are aligned with the company's business needs. I make executive technology decisions on behalf of the company, including managing a technology budget and making investments to align the company with its vision of being both the easiest company in its industry to work with, and to work for.I partner with CEO to define, prioritize and realize technology development and implementation roadmap. I also develop objectives and strategies for the implementation of innovative solutions while optimizing existing systems, applications, and information to yield a competitive business advantage.Other responsibilities include making architecture decisions to ensure strong, stable, and scalable solutions for the company, leading relationship management at a senior level with key vendors and service providers, ensuring that offerings meet the company's objectives and evolve as necessary for changing business and marketplace demands. and manage the company's technological resources, including the direct supervision of the development team and IT administrators.

As Director of Technology, it is my role to lead the strategic development of our clinic technology infrastructure, leveraging well-defined processes and procedures to ensure the systems are hardened, highly available, and automatically configured.

As DevOps Lead, I am tasked with overseeing a team of two to three DevOps engineers and providing direction for the team as we strive to improve the performance and capabilities of the systems our software runs on. I manage projects that introduced efficiencies within the DevOps and Development group. I lead biweekly stand up meetings with the DevOps team to discuss accomplishments, obstacles, and plans for the upcoming week. I work closely with our Development group and Solution Architects, as well as our customers and their partners to ensure B2B integration is achieved through multiple connections, including RESTful API calls, and SFTP and AS2 protocols.

As Technical Systems Engineer, I was responsible for the entire IT infrastructure and services. I was trusted with managing everything within IT, including customer support, desktop support, hardware and software procurement, new customer implementations, phone and internet technologies, and server and network administration. I lead many IT projects as we continued to grow and expand as a company and worked closely with solution architects and project managers to ensure our customers were satisfied and content with their B2B integration and application deployments.

At ORBIT Systems, I was a Deployment Engineer, which consisted of analyzing current customer networks and systems, preparing a migration and project plan, and then implementing the migration to the ORBIT infrastructure, either by myself or with a team of engineers and technicians. Responsibilities included desktop and server support for the customer, migrating Exchange, migrating Active Directory objects, migrating DNS and websites, migrating servers and workstations, and implementing new T1 or ISDN lines. I also performed Cisco Call Manager implementations for VoIP.

At New Horizons, I was both an Applications Instructor, as well as a Technical Instructor. I taught 1-, or 3-, or 5-day classes to adult learners. These classes included Word, Excel, Dreamweaver, and Powerpoint, to Active Directory, Exchange, SQL, and ISA server classes.
