Andrew Starr began his General Electric career in 2009 with the Information Technology Leadership Program (ITLP). As part of this program, Andrew completed 4 6-month rotations in various parts of GE Corporate’s IT infrastructure and application development organizations. This included work on the Enterprise Architecture, HR systems, ITIL Service Management, and Video Collaboration teams. During these two years Andrew also led recruitment and onboarding for new ITLPs.In 2011, Andrew joined the Infrastructure Shared Services (ISS) organization as Video Collaboration leader. In this role, he was responsible for designing, building, and deploying Video Collaboration solutions used through the entire GE organizations.Andrew developed and deployed next generation interop using a unique architecture allowing users globally to connect Telepresence with legacy video conferencing. Additionally he deployed new scheduling functionality for legacy endpoints enabling simple easy video conferencing. Andrew also implemented new functionality to connect web based Video users to view video from, and share content with, video rooms. Andrew is also responsible for developing GE's video on demand strategy.In 2014 Andrew joined the mobility team responsible for mobile device management across GE. As a program manager he is responsible for overseeing engineering on the team as well as new technology introductions. In 2017 Andrew joined Amazon as a Senior TPM for Amazon Devices on the Echo team. As a Technical Program Manager on that team he was responsible for new feature implementation and support for new devices on multiple experiences on the Echo Show team. In 2020 Andrew joined Hamilton Lane, responsible foe driving digital workplace enhancements and improving end user technology. He currently leads the End User Technology and Information Security teams, helping to drive the company to the cloud, deploy new end user solutions and enhancing the security posture of the organization. Andrew holds a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology with a concentration in Management Information Systems from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and an MBA from the NYU Stern School of Business.
