I am an Event Manager / Planner with a history of working in the hospitality industry for more than sixteen years. I am skilled in Event Services Team Management, Event Sales and Lead Conversion, Corporate Event, Social Event, and Wedding - Planning, Coordination, and Execution. My background in Photography includes Wedding Photography, Event Photography, Portraiture, and Real Estate Photography. As a Small Business Owner for many years I decided to change career paths, leading me to pursue a Marketing Degree. Knowing that I could use the knowledge I gained in any career choice, my passion led me back to the Events Industry and it is by far the best decision that I’ve ever made.I am highly efficient in communication and negotiation skills, time management and team management. I believe that the most important aspect of my job is to provide quality Customer Service to each of my Clients with respect and integrity. I strive to lead my staff by example and help them to grow and flourish in their career.I am very honored to have successfully executed 53 Weddings and Reception Events in 2016 and 2017 during my career with The Cedars Wedding and Events Venue in Acworth, GA. During my career with Barnsley Resort in Adairsville, GA I successfully executed 26 Luxury Weddings in 2018 and 105 Events in 2019 to include Corporate Multi Day Events, Corporate One Day Events, Golf Tournaments, and Sporting Clay Tournaments.In March of 2020 I was given the opportunity to grow my career further and accepted the position of Event Services Manager with Governors Gun Club to manage and restructure the Events Department for both the Kennesaw, GA and Powder Springs, GA locations.I launched my own Wedding & Event Planning Company, Starr Lowe Events, in April of 2021.
