I am currently working as a back-end QA engineer. My main responsibility is building and maintaining a programming language called Pine Script. My current tech stack includes Bash, Docker, GitLab CI/CD, Postman, python, pytest, manual testing, log analysis, metrics, community support, bug reporting, and Jira/Trello.As a QA engineer, I am precise and detail-oriented. I ensure nothing goes unnoticed by consistently double-checking everything from development to production deployment. I'm keen on handling difficult tasks. I am constantly eager to produce more; I dislike being in a routine and producing "middle" work. My QA work resulted in many major improvements to Pine, including enhanced error messages, matrices, math functions, Pine V5, libraries, user-defined types, enums, improved backend services and pine-editor, improvements to the strategies engine, and numerous bugfixes.I hold the record for reporting the most issues. I have completed the majority of the tasks during my time at the company. I have experience with a variety of programming languages. In 2007, during school, I started with Pascal, then moved on to Delphi and Visual Basic. While at university (2009-2015), I transitioned from Matlab programming to electronics, eventually focusing on C/C++ for microcontrollers. Additionally, I experimented with coding in C#. In 2021, I started learning Java and object-oriented programming while searching for employment and working as a technician in a factory. I also finally started using Git (better late than never), as my side projects, previously stored in zip files on my computer, tended to vanish. Ultimately, I chose a path of less resistance to stop going in circles around finding a real IT job, and I found myself in QA, which I naturally enjoyed.So I’ve become somewhat familiar with a variety of languages, but I’ve since forgotten most of them. Now, I’m an expert in Pine Script, the programming language used for our product. And I'm trying to limit my projects usage to Python.
