I’ve had the great fortune so far in my career to work in corporate and public-sector communications as a writer, editor, plain language instructor, and publication designer for print and web media. I’ve managed numerous projects from concept to implementation, working with some amazing people, including customers, colleagues, and partners at every level of the organizations I serve. The first six years of my career were spent in newspapers as a reporter, editor and page designer. I am the author of the Water Wars Duology of “The Mother I Knew" and "Bum Rush the Commons." I hold a bachelor of art degree in journalism from Michigan State University.My wife Sarah and I currently reside in the greater Washington DC area with our dog Louie and two cats Lenny and Georgie.
