The April 2016, Startup Launchpad will have representation from 150+ startups, 25 thought leaders and more than 50,000 buyers from all over the world who represent retailers, distributors and a rapidly growing group of Amazon and other online sellers.The startups booths and kiosks are integrated as a Pavilion within each of Global Sources’ April 2015 sourcing shows in Hong Kong: Global Sources Electronics; Mobile Electronics; Gifts & Home; and Fashion. Now in its second year, the Startup Launchpad is comprised of an integrated trade show and conference program that addresses the startup process from end to end: Market Trends, Product Validation, Profitable Production, and Scaling & Distribution.Startup Launchpad is unique in that it brings together the startups with the investors, manufacturers, and global buyers who can validate the product and place orders.WHO SHOULD VISITEvery April and October, our Hong Kong shows welcome volume buyers from some 200 countries who come to visit manufacturers and other suppliers from China and throughout Asia. • Executives of businesses that purchase for resale: Many of the world’s leading retailers, manufacturers and brand-owners are represented by senior management, and by sourcing and product development executives. • Executives with purchasing authority: Executive management job titles like Owner, Partner, President, Director and General Manager.
