We design and build residential and commercial solar PV systems.My role in the company is the engineering manager - I manage the design of the PV systems and also act as the company's head engineer, consulting the electricians, project managers, operations, sales and CEO regarding all engineering and technology aspects of PV systems.When I started at H.Y. Energy, I was tasked with building from the scratch the engineering department of the company. Today I directly manage 3 PV design engineers, consulting colleagues, and the company has grown and won many tenders, gained a vast portfolio of residential and commercial PV systems, and entering more advanced fields such as floating PV, AgriPV and PV+storage solutions.I have gained immense experience in the field of PV engineering. From the solar cells tech, to the simulation of energy harvest of a PV field using PVSYST and the different physical models it is based on, to financial simulations, I know how to optimize a system to be the most efficient from a techno-economic perspective.Working closely with the CEO, CTO, PMO and Operation manager, I know every small detail of a project life cycle in an EPC in the PV systems industry.
