Starting a new role in the Department of Health and Social Care to streamline our work on product development and analytical data pipelines. Building on the work of our Population Health Surveillance Transformation Programme over the last year. Prior to joining the Department, I was head of the UK COVID-19 dashboard at the UK Health Security Agency. I am a statistician with a background in mortality statistics of over 20 years. In Public Health England, I was Head of Profession for statistics and also managed a range of projects including the Public Health Outcomes Framework. I have an MSc in Medical Demography from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
