I am a Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers in good standing. I am also a member of the Canadian Association of Social Workers and have a Professional Liability Insurance. I am reliable, self-motivated, client-oriented, well-organized, and committed to the well-being of the individuals I work with. I am a great team player, although I work well independently. I have great communication and crisis-intervention skills; I am always attentive, and eager to provide any guidance or assistance the best way possible. I have extensive experience working with children, youth and families in social, individual, and group settings, acquired through my BSW placement at the Children's Aid Society of Toronto, my MSW placement at the Toronto District School Board, as well extensive work and volunteering experience at preschools and community centres. Additionally, I have experience in the private counseling sector, where I conduct Biopsychosocial Assessments and provide Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Counseling to clients injured in motor vehicle accidents. Through my work for various private rehabilitation clinics, I continue to provide my clients with some of the tools and resources necessary for their empowerment and self-advocacy.
