With 20+ years of global leadership experience I have a proven track record in successful product launch and business expansion in the field, engaging diverse stakeholders to create a shared vision and objectives and delivering results through seamless strategy execution. Having worked in multiple countries, at operational and strategic level, I started as a sales representative and grew professionally through leadership positions in product management, commercial management, business development, general management and commercial effectiveness, consistently increasing my responsibilities. Among my key achievements I count the 4fold increase of operating profit and 5 fold increase of the organisation during my tenure as General Manager in Africa -an area widely regarded as one of the more challenging within the emmerging markets. More recently, in my role as Commercial Effectiveness Director I have developed and co-ordinated the roll out of the Commercial Effectiveness strategic framework for Novo Nordisk which led to up to 20% improvements in sales force call rates in the field, a strong adherence to strategy and the establishment of the CE function and network as a core business function and reference group. I am proud that our work has been recognised and rewarded through invitations by top company executives to share our way of doing things in CE and execute similar initiatives outside of my area of responsibility, namely in China, the US and Japan. I have finally always strived to have my team be part of a bigger team, be present and work collaboratively. Over the years, I have built strong, lasting relationships with senior executives in Novo Nordisk and external partners and their high regard to my business approach, dependability and result orientation is what I cherish the most.
