As part of a division which worked on Cisco's internal internet security suite, I was tasked with updating several features in the code to make them compatible with the IPv6 standard. I had to configure the program properly and verify its proper operation. Then, I wrote code in C to update features allowing the program to accept IPv6 packets and process them appropriately to determine their origin and other key discernible facts and make appropriate security decisions. Finally, I wrote and executed test scripts to ensure that these security features were working.

I worked in the RF engineering department helping design and implement verification tests for a wireless heart rate monitor. These tests were necessary to verify proper operation of the device and ensure that the device would meet all applicable federal, state, commercial, and international regulations.
