About Sarah Taylor
I am a young professional with a diverse background of post-graduate experiences. I graduated from Virginia Tech in 2017 with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Animal Sciences. Most recently, I came off of a 4 year animal control/humane law enforcement background with a heavy emphasis in community engagement and conflict resolution within local pet families regarding the health, safety, and care of their animals. I have a passion for the animal welfare/advocacy field pertaining to regulation reform, pet owner guidance, and creating a positive community impact. Prior to this, I worked in the customer service field as a Lead Pet Care Associate and also in the technical research setting as a Program Support Specialist.Currently, I am a Veterinary Care Coordinator with a Veterinary Hospice and In-Home Euthanasia company called Lap of Love, focused on guiding and counseling families on end of life decisions for their pets and coordinating visits with our team of DVM’s.
