I lead a multi-disciplinary team of competition lawyers and economic and regulatory policy specialists.Over the last 10 years I have led engagement with regulators, on a wide range of competition, market, and consumer issues, in a number of jurisdictions, across telecoms and financial services. I have been instrumental in obtaining regulatory clearances of complex mergers across the globe, working closely with the CEOs of the impacted businesses. I have overseen global regulatory compliance programs in three different large corporates. Most recently I have engaged extensively with UK regulators on questions relating to market design and the role of regulation in financial services - for example in relation to the role of Big Tech, Open Banking and Open Data, and the interplay between regulation and growth. I am passionate about understanding how the business I am representing works, and take a proactive entrepreneurial approach to regulatory engagement. I am a decisive and inclusive leader, keen to take account of multiple perspectives, always looking for opportunities to develop my team.In addition to competition law and policy, I have experience in data protection, consumer law, commercial contracts, public law, and financial crime.I believe in life-long learning and recently obtained a Masters degree in economics for competition law from Kings College London.
