Some high lights: Manages budget of $7,000,000+ directs staff of 25, dozens of part-time employees, hundreds of students and 250 volunteers. Oversees operations, marketing, finance, event management, concessions, ticketing, development and education departments Develop transparent data gathering and fiscal systems to facilitate analysis, oversight and real time decision making. Restructured the GBPAC, Events Complex and UNItix to fully realize the potential for cost savings and improved, centralized, patron services using lean process techniques to reduce waste of time and simplify systems while improving customer service. Returned athletic facilities to full bonding compliance. I have on occasion served as an interim leader during the stabilization of an organization and have the skills required for that work. My specialty is helping organizations that are in trouble or helping strong organizations identify and avoid trouble on the horizon. I have on occasion served as an interim leader during the stabilization of an organization and have the skills required for that work. My specialty is helping organizations that are in trouble or helping strong organizations identify and avoid trouble on the horizon. Most of all I prefer to work alongside my employer as a partner.I do have a full time job (check me at GBPAC.org) but am able to take on clients. I am passionate about the performing arts and will not see them perish. That being said I've done some major non-arts projects for universities and not for other not for profits. Show less

One of my formative periods. Was allowed to develop new expertise in educational programming, fundraising, planning large events, box office management and ticketing systems and marketing and communications. This in addition to deep operational understanding of production, lighting design, stage management and training stage hands. This breadth gave me much to lean into in future roles and allowed me to approach not for profit management with a comprehensive understanding.
