An Engineering Practice Lead (Senior Engineering Manager) is responsible for a practice in a Vaimo market, and the people in that practice. This role leads a team of Competence Leads (Engineering Managers) who, in turn, lead teams of people with similar competence.A Practice Lead is accountable for the growth, performance, competence, engagement and satisfaction of engineers within the practice. This directly contributes to Vaimo’s purpose - to “create outstanding experiences that accelerate client success, driven by highly engaged teams”. - Leading and growing direct reports and indirect reports (Engineering Managers and Engineers)- Onboarding and training for interns, Engineers, and Engineering Managers- Performance improvements through Delivery Games (focus areas for each quarter)- Salary Review process for the engineers in your practice- Delivery Excellence focus- Weekly 1on1's with Competence Leads (Engineering Managers)- Monthly and Quarterly Goals Planning (individual development goals and company goals)- Monthly and Quarterly Peakon (eNPS - employee satisfaction) review and setting drivers - Weekly Practice Lead meetings - Working with HR and People Partners in the different Country Units- Responsible for job families framework (JFF), People Performance and development, and career progression plans for Engineers and Engineering Managers
