I am currently looking for new employment opportunities in software development.My most recent role was as application developer working for TIAA through Brooksource. I focused mainly on backend programming, but have some experience with developing frontend applications. I started this position very shortly after I graduated from UNC Charlotte with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science.I have been interested in programming for many years and I have made several short programs in many languages before even going to college. This includes: C, C++, Java, Python, JavaScript, and Bash.I have also been involved in Scouting since I started as a Cub Scout in 2006. Since then, I have joined Boy Scouts, the Order of the Arrow (OA), and Venturing. I became an Eagle Scout in November of 2018 and have continued, both as a leader in Scouting, and a participant in Venturing and the OA. Through Scouting, I have given more than 90 service hours in various community efforts.Before any of my other jobs, I worked at Food Lion for many years. I started stocking and cleaning produce, but quickly learned how to run a cash register, stock almost all the departments at Food Lion, manage the cash and cashiers, and even worked at the dairy warehouse briefly.I have also worked as an Instructional Assistant at UNC Charlotte. This was for both a web design class, and a class on designing the back-end for web servers. I helped students learn by hosting office hours, and I graded assignments.
