As a qualified Duke of Edinburgh (DofE) Supervisor, I take responsibility for a DofE group when on expeditions and also lead, guide, inspire and encourage young people, agree their programme choices and approve their progress and pictures in eDofE.Awards start from Bronze, to Silver and finally Gold. Awards can be started from age 14 and be completed up until the age of 24.I intend to follow up my leadership skills to become an assessor in the near future.

I'm a Commissioned Officer, with the rank of Lieutenant working with young children between the ages of 12 to 18 years of age. The Army Cadet Force offers young childreng a wide range of life skills, discipline, sports, First Aid, Duke of Edinburgh Award, BTEC, Expedition and management skills alongside the proficiency syllabus.The ACF offers opportunities otherwise not available to young children, particularly those in urban areas, such as camping, navigation and adventurous training.The ACF also arrange exchanges with other countries such as China, Canada and some Caribbean countries.

I also author technical reports and documents such as site visit records, Flood Risk Assessments, Cost breakdown, and submissions for projects. Experienced in designing and producing documents for below ground drainage based on SUDS principles to comply with various regulations and planning conditions.I represent the company at meetings, making critical decisions and creating reports and technical documentation for projects.I am competent producing all forms of technical drawings from conception through to as-builts's. I have also produced RC details and bar bending schedules. I have worked on large projects ranging from a few hundred pounds up to £200M+. I have managed projects ranging in value from c.£100 - c.£2.5M, from budget costing to completion, working on my own with very minimal or no supervision.As a matter of course, I assist engineers, providing experienced advice on civils and structural matters. I have experience visiting sites and offering on the spot advice/solutions to contractors.I have been responsible for carrying out levelling surveys, crack monitoring and cyclical surveys of listed buildings. I am a holder of the CSCS card and Sentinel Entry permit card. I coordinate with the design team to produce documentation which sets out the protocols for BIM mandated projects.I am a competent AutoCAD User, keeping up to date with the latest release of the software. I am also competent using Microsoft Office software. I have experience using Revit Structure, and is constantly working to improve my skillset in this area to keep up with the way the industry is moving. I Recently undertook a course in Civil 3D.I am a Chartered Structural Technician with the Institute of Structural Engineer (IStructE), sealing my professional accreditation and recognition and also confirming my ability to practice worldwide in this highly regarded profession.
