About Steele Severson
I love theater. In fact, I love acting all-together. I love the thrill of being on-stage, I love the hours spent drilling lines, I especially love auditions and making many friends through my productions. I have a knack for comedy and realism but haven often been stretched into the dramatic and the experimental.I also love music. I can play guitar, saxophone, and sing in a high tenor range (A2 - C5). I've stage experience as a musician in both principal and ensemble roles, and will conquer both with gusto given the opportunity.I also love comedy (as previously stated) and have been a co-host for a few stage shows at Fanime a few times throughout the years. I have dabbled lightly in stand-up and improv, as well. I would love to eventually do some sort of stream or podcast, but I need to procure the capital first! Perhaps you can help?
Listed skills include Music, Creative Writing, Guitar, Recording, and 8 others.

Stage Personality
2013: Stage interaction, entertainment, light technical work.2014:Co-hosted a two-hour segment for a large crowd, stage interaction, light technical work.
Escanaba In Da Moonlight
Played "The Jimmer" in The Acting Company's production of "Escanaba in da Moonloght" (by Jeff Daniels). A wonderful comedy having to do with a hunting trip in the U.P. (The Upper Peninsula for all you flat-landers), I played The Jimmer: an urband legend of sorts who was abducted by aliens. When he came back, he had a strange speech impediment and could drink like a fish. Lots of physical comedy and a thick accent made for a delightful role.
A Seussified Christmas Carol
Played "Narrator #2" in The Acting Company's production of "A Seussified Christmas Carol" (by Peter Bloedel). A delightful one-act show which turns the traditional Christmas Carol on its head with full Seuss verse, I played "Narrator #2", who was the Thing 2 to my co-star's Thing 1, as we rattled off the events of the longest night of Scrooge's life. Lots of tricky rhyming, some pantomime, a wig and some footie pajamas were involved.
Death Of A Salesman
Stage Managed Yuba College's performance of "Death of a Salesman" (by Arthur Miller). Tasks included rigorous note taking, organization of props and actors, communication between director, tech director and actors, supervision of some technical duties and keeping the show running smoothly with other tasks as they arose.
Delivery Driver
- Responsible for answering customer phone calls- Quickly and accurately recording customer orders in to the main computer system- Responsible for the safe and timely delivery of food and drink to the clientele- Assisted in cleaning, sanitizing, organizing, preparing, opening and closing of the entire store
Twelfth Night
Played "Clown" in the Yuba College production of "Twelfth Night" (William Shakespeare). One of the best of Shakespeare's comedies, concerning twins separated at sea, cross-dressing, and a wedding at the end (just like the rest of them!). Played Feste the Jester (or "Clown"), a sharp-witted man who acts as the audience's thoughts through clever wordplay and sheer wit. Sang three songs (one of which I also played guitar for) throughout the show, as well as an on-stage costume change (complete with accent work) and high amounts of physical comedy.
The Cripple Of Inishmaan
Played "Bartley McCormick" in Yuba College's production of "The Cripple of Inishmaan" (by Martin McDonagh). A very dark comedy set on the Irish island of Inishmaan, circa 1934, concerning a young man, Billy Craven, crippled since birth. I played Bartley McCormick, a young and naive friend of the main character who was the butt of many jokes. The play required heavy, authentic Irish accent work as well as great comedic timing, lots of slapstick comedy for my character and at least 50 smashed eggs through the course of the show.
