As Department Supervisor ,I am responsible for operational Conduct of Custodial services for 23 assigned areas within the University.In addition I provide emergency custodial services through out the entire campus. Areas to which the position is assigned are comprised of academic, administrative, residential and athletic facilities.I provide supervision and operational oversight for 10-30 employees engaged in providing the full Range of housekeeping services.As supervisor my duties which include, but are not limited to the following: Maintain the WCU Custodial Department 's intergity , effectiveness and efficiency via staff oversight and compliance to department work standards, work assignments and cleaning policy and procedure. As supervisor I am also responsible for assuring a safe operating environment for employees through compliance with state and local safety and training procedures, track and monitor assigned work from beginning to completion, Train and instruct employees in the proper utilization of equiptment , Materials, chemicals and the use of protective devices, generate daily, weekly and monthly reports to include but not limited to daily activity , key assignments, staff attendance, quality inspection, inventory control, injury/accident reports, document and initiate necessary disciplinary action in accordance with University policy and procedure as well as constractual agreements and labor-relations standard practices. I Exhibit strong skills in leadership,organization,teamwork,collaberation,inclusiveness, motivation,staff recognition and staff development, Maintain high level of customer service,support management in successfully evaluating,improving and implementing university and departmental standards,prepare annual performance reviews,provide event coverage and ensure event services are provided in accordance with established requirments,ensure custodial staff conduct is professional and in accordance with university civility standards.

Feed the poor, teach under priviladged children, provide school supplies , pray for the sick ,teach the Bible, provide for the needy , refer them to services and or organizations that can farther assist them in meeting their needs in Africa & in the community

Not only am I responsible for spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ , It is my duty to teach Self sustaining entrepreneurial skills and self sufficiency. Why? Because I have a strong belief that Education and skill development training can play a major part in alleviating World poverty. There is an African Proverb that has been my Model for effective Teaching through out the years and It says, " Give a man a fish , you feed him for a day. Teach him to fish and you feed him for LIFE " My Goal is to leave the Mission field knowing that when I am gone the people who I have reached will grow and Live a better life and that More abundantly!
