Additionally, I provided collective bargaining support for our members through wage and benefit calculations and analyses, and was responsible for conducting budget analyses at the county and state levels.In 2012, I was part of a core grant team that was awarded a $12 million innovation grant for the California Long-Term Care Education Center to provide training and integration of In-Home Supportive Services providers and their consumers in California.In 2013, I served as a grant writer on the Covered California Outreach and Education program, which awarded SEIU ULTCW $0.5 million to conduct outreach and education activities for California's state healthcare exchange under the Affordable Care Act.
