I am a passionate and integrative therapist who holds a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from The Family Institute at Northwestern University, and has been licensed in IL since 2011. I have has been blessed to have worked at Flourish Studios and the Studio For Change for nearly six years and I am thrilled to be running my own private practice, Steele Counseling! I use me clients' strengths, humor, elements of meditation, and goal setting to help clients efficiently resolve presenting problems. I am ardent about helping people from diverse backgrounds to promote life and relationship satisfaction for all individuals, couples and families. Most importantly I really love my work and I am passionate about the field of marriage and family therapy. I work with individuals, couples and families at Steele Counseling and accept both BlueCross/BlueShield PPO of IL insurance and out-of-pocket payment options. Furthermore, Steele Counseling takes a holistic approach to all cases combing elements of mental, physical, spiritual, and emotional wellness to help facilitate positive change in all my client’s lives. I am a Level 1 trained in Internal Family Systems ("Parts Therapy") and a clinical member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT). I continue to volunteer with a CPS elementary school, through Community in Schools of Chicago (CISC), I am also a certified AAMFT approved supervisor and I am trained in the couples inventory system called "Prepare/Enrich" (www.Prepare-Enrich.org).
