In the collection development process, we focus on basic Scandinavian design values by combining design with functionality and quality. In addition, we strive to give the classic bags a twist of contemporary fashion by adding eye-catching details, by using hot colors etc.Our overall philosophy is to offer women high quality leather products at competitive prices. Experience/results:• Throughout 7 years (from 2001-2008) Export Director and thus responsible for the distribution of ICC brands in markets where IC Companys had not established own subsidiaries (a business unit named Export Group). More specifically Export Group handled the markets in Eastern Europe, Southern Europe, Middle East and Far East. I was especially involved (operational and strategic) in the projects in Russia, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Japan, China and Spain. • Markets & Partners: Export Group had several kind of partners depending on the particularities of the specific markets: Agents (e.g. Spain), Distributors (e.g. Russia & Japan), Franchise Partners (e.g. Saudi Arabia, UAE & Croatia) and Department Stores Chains (e.g. Singapore & Thailand). In addition to these markets the Export Group was also responsible for the all business operations in China.• Management of a team of dedicated and ambitious employees combined with an aggressive growth strategy resulted in an exceptional growth performance from 2001-2008. In 2008 the turnover was increased six fold from Euro 4.5 million to Euro 35 million after seven years of constant growth. During the same period of time Export Group grew from 7-35 employees, including 6 KAM’s.• Overall responsibility of the establishment of the IC Companys subsidiary in China. From the initial step of investigating the Chinese market, the competitors, the distribution channels etc., to the creation of a comprehensive strategic report presented to the Board, to finding office facilities, employing a Chinese CEO, negotiating with the most important Chinese Department Store Chains (e.g. Parkson Department Store Chain), to the opening of 35 Shop-in-Shops in cities like Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu, Chongqing, Nanjing, Xiamen etc.• Responsibility of negotiation of business contracts (Franchise-, Distribution-, Agent-, and Department Store Contracts) with key partners in South- and Eastern Europe, Middle East and Asia. •
