Responsible for fundraising for a portfolio of museums, galleries and heritage sights in North East England including grants, trusts and foundations, corporate fundraising and individual giving. Guest speaker to Newcastle University 'MA Museum Studies' students on topic of Sponsorship and Corporate Fundraising.

Working within the Central Policy Unit of Newcastle City Council, covering a broad range of policy areas including labour market, community engagement and empowerment, health and social care, International Newcastle, social inclusion and migration. Responsible for research and development of council and partnership policy and briefings, responding to national government consultations and implementation and evaluation of pilot policy initiatives. Invited to speak at two national local government conferences on topic of participatory budgeting and co-ordinated the Council's participation in the Department of Communities National Evaluation of Participatory Budgeting.
