In my role as business process specialist, I serve as a global subject matter expert working across all businesses and sites to provide technical expertise and guidance related to system architecture, work process and related management system best practices. I ensure effective and efficient implementation of Operations IT/OT MET1 solutions across area(s) of scope (i.e., in support of improvements to current SAP functionality, plant start-ups, new business implementations, etc.)

I worked as a consultant involved in various IT related projects, impacting our clients’ work processes. In the various project management related roles, change management was a key element. This helped our clients to make the next step in their digital transformation.

In my role as assistant course coordinater at the Rotterdam School of management, I am responsible for teaching 75 students and training the other teaching assistants in weekly meetings. Furthermore, I am responsible for monitoring the RSM Debating committee.

My responsibilities are to answer all questions of potential first-year Business Administration students related to the study, but also to the city of Rotterdam, finding a house et cetera. Besides that, I provided them with information on the courses, helped them with several assignments and gave them feedback on the SWOT analyses made.

In this function, I assist the professor of the course by moderating and guiding discussions between second year Business Administration students. The students discuss about current dilemmas on the topics of leadership, sustainability and governance.

Teacher of the course Managerial Skills and mentor of first-year students. Mainly, I guide two groups of about 20 students through weekly meetings to help develop better presentation, argumentation, scientific writing studying and coöperation skills. Besides giving different kind of lectures, there are weekly trainings with the other mentors to improve my own skills. These courses include focusing on developing my teaching, presentation, communication and leadership skills, self-reliance, problem solving and self-reflectivity.

The RSM Debate is a large-scale annual event at the Erasmus University for freshman business students. Almost forty first year students compete, in front of their 750 classmates, for the title "RSM debater of the Year". As a chairman I am representing the vision and purpose of the organisation. Also I ensure that the management committee functions properly, that there is full participation at meetings, all relevant matters are discussed and that effective decisions are made and carried out.
