My path to environmental services wasn’t exactly conventional. With a background in social work and psychology, I’ve always been passionate about people, human connection, and building towards the better good. When my husband decided to leave corporate life to start Defend Environmental, I saw an opportunity to blend my people skills with creativity in an entirely new way.Today, I’m proud to be a vice president and a second generation environmental services owner, using my skills to build something that truly matters—not just for our family, but for our community and future generations. I believe in doing things differently: blending expertise with empathy, tackling tough jobs with a sense of humour, and always staying authentic to who I am.Whether I’m navigating the complexities of hazardous waste management or simply managing the chaos of family life, I bring a unique perspective to everything I do.
