Keukenhof is the international and independent showcase of Dutch floriculture. Keukenhof annually attracts 1.5 million visitors from all over the world. The park is operated by approximately 4,000 employees. I only work at the Keukenhof during the annual season, March till May. Some of my tasks within the company:• Responsible for the coördination of the day to day business of the park during opening hours• Responsible for the smooth running of the different departments (e.g. Parking, Entrance, Cleaning, etc)• Guarantee the satisfaction and safety of the guests in the park• Handling complaints and processing guest feedback• Responsible for receiving dignitaries who visit the park.

Vana Events organizes three events (Castlefest, Keltfest and Castlefest Winter Edition) annually. These events attract over 55,000 visitors over the year. In addition, Vana Events supports other organizers in organizing events. Some of my duties within the company:• Responsible for the daily operational and financial policy of the organization.• Financially responsible for the group and the events. • Development of the long-term policy in areas such as sustainability, events and the company. • Continuing to professionalise the structure of the company and the operational side of the events. • Directing the heads of department. • Responsible for the events. Especially in the field of crisis management, security and the current business at the event.

Responsible for the development and implementation of the WVG (Work Permit) software system. Used by the department 'Gebouw & Techniek' location VUmc for their (daily) maintenance, (ad-hoc) repairs and long term projects of the technical installations within the hospital. Some of my responsibilities:• Assess the needs and the requirements of the department concerning the new software system• Ensuring all concerning parties are on board of the process (stakeholder management) • Development and design of the workflow process • Finding and contracting a software developer for the system• During the build Product Owner of the software package and liaison between the software developer and the department within Amsterdam UMC

Essent NV is an utility company part of the German energy group Innogy that supplies electricity and gas to private and business customers in the Netherlands and Belgium. With 3.1 million customers and 2,800 employees, Essent is the largest energy supplier in the Netherlands. Some of my duties within the company: • The development and implementation of a long-term vision for Business Intelligence.• Responsible for the development and implementation of a new Datawarehouse system from the Customer Retail Organization point of view• Managing the (IT) BI team and BI portfolio, partly in the role of project manager and Product Owner• Identified needs in process and system changes and responsible for drawing up business cases for these changes.• Coordinating in implementation projects in the BI work field.• Provided complex data analysis, reports and developed (forecasting) models.• Product / Business Owner of the Reporting BI systems and therefore ultimately responsible for these systems.• In the role of Product Owner responsible for the prioritization and managing of the backlog• Translate the needs and wishes of the business into items on the backlog• Automation of repetitive actions in the organization (office automation).

• Supporting and advising on system and process adjustments.• Contact person between IT and Business for system adaptations and support in the prioritization, planning and implementation of these adaptations. • (Proactive) elaboration of improvement proposals for the professionalization of the BI environment. • Developing and designing (KPI) reports. Also responsible for delivering these reports.• The development and implementation of a long-term vision for BI.
