About Stefaan Van Goolen
My first IT experience was as a first line support engineer at HP Cds (a company specialized in on-site and line-support). I later on had the chance to work at Cegeka as a System Engineer. Cegeka is a consultancy company with over 5500 employees, one of the bigger players in Belgium's IT-world. I took my first steps in SharePoint at Xylos. I learned a lot as a SharePoint Administrator, while still collaborating in Systems Projects. Eventually Ventigrate (part of Cronos group) offered me the chance to specialize myself as a SharePoint Developer (ASP, C#, JavaScript, jquery, ...). At Ventigrate I realized that project management was my following goal. I started this goal at Ventigrate, leading smaller projects. At Johnson & Johnson I experienced my first major projects. In 2018 the time had come to use these experiences for my new goal: independent entrepeneur. I founded my own company, specialising in Project/Program Management. I offered Vinçotte my services and went on to be a Project Manager for about 2 years. Since 2021 I’m appointed as Head of Operations & Infrastructure.Specialties:- Agile / SCRUM,- Logical/critical thinking, searching for the right solution,- Working in a team, - Face-to-face contact with customer,- Advising in a non critical way

I always felt like I had to be 100% ready and prepared in order to apply for a position at Cronos. I realized, you can't be. So I applied at Ventigrate for a SharePoint developer position. They offered me training and guidance to achieve my goals. Right now, I'm collaborating on small functional/developer projects and general SharePoint issues. I can only say that Cronos is by far the best company I've ever worked at. It is well organized, innovative and has the resources to invest in a wide range of projects.
