Spearhead the leadership, management, and development of the multi-disciplinary L2 Service Team across Italy, within the Managed Services Competence Center.

- Co-ordinate and manage the day to day activities of the Managed Services multi-disciplinary team- Technically assist the team actively working on customer issues where required- Motivating and coaching he team to deliver a first class support service- Providing an escalation level for customers and the team for problem support, management, resolution and communication- Technical escalation for Systems related incidents/requests/projects- Encouraging team input into procedures and flows related to the support services, assisting and developing their ideas and involving them in the implementation process- Conduct periodic one to one’s with individual team members- Support to Sales and Design teams for new projects or contracts renewal

- Technical leader for system/infrastructure-related issues/projects in the Managed Services Team- Datacenter and virtualization: --Servers deployment (standalone machines or datacenter servers such as Cisco UCS Mini or HPE Blade System)​ --VMware vSphere farms deployment with iSCSI, FC, FCoE, SAS datastores --Storage configuration and deployment (mainly Netapp Data Ontap 7-Mode or CMode) --Physical/virtual server backup and replication solutions design and deployment (Veeam Backup & Replication, Veritas Backup Exec)- Cloud: --Maintenance and operation of clouds environments based on Microsoft Azure --Maintenance and operation of clouds environments based on VMware vCloud Director- Office 365 solutions design and deployment (Cloud Identity, Synchronized Identity, Federated Identity)- Office 365 migration from on-premises or cloud mail services to Exchange online and cross-tenant migrations- VDI with Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (deployment and operation)- Security and VPNs with Fortinet Fortigate and Paloalto firewalls- Incidents prevention by using active monitoring solutions to report in time infrastructure or appliances issues/down states in order to avoid and minimize business critical activities outages.- Active Directory deployment and troubleshooting (including ADDS, DNS, Certificate Services, ADFS)- Support to Sales and Design teams for new customer contracts or renewal- Local IT contact for on-premise infrastructure/network operation and maintenance for the business unit.

▪ 2nd level Technical support (remote assistance or onsite) on cases with high criticality or impact on business for issues related to network and servers (windows / linux)▪ Design, implementation and management of Windows Active Directory domains▪ Implementation and maintenance of on-premises virtualization infrastructures (VMWare ESXI, Microsoft Hyper-V, Citrix Xen Server) and cloud-based (Microsoft Azure, VMWare vCloud)▪ Installation and management of Netapp FAS and HPE storages▪ VDI solutions deployment and management based on Citrix XenApp / XenDesktop 7.x▪ Design, implementation and management of backup systems (Veeam, Backup Exec, Arcserve) for the protection of virtual machines▪ Installation and management of firewalls (Fortigate, Checkpoint, Cisco ASA, Clavister, Endian Firewall)▪ Installation and management of inux based operating systems▪ Definition of guidelines for the preparation of internal and customer documentation

- Technical support (remote assistance and / or onsite) about hardware/software problems on personal computers (environments windows / linux), related peripherals, smartphones and tablets (Android / iOS / Windows)- Troubleshooting 1st level of issues related to network infrastructure (switching and wireless)
