• During the masters training I improved my knowledge in database systems and studied concepts about Data Warehousing where I developed a ROLAP browser.• I studied several XML technologies and applied them on different subjects.• I have studied methods for search and optimization of high complexity problems. I applied these methods during my master’s and further extended my knowledge to a more advanced level.• In my dissertation I created a methodology to develop an organised document network, expanding existing software to achieve more precision and accuracy in document clustering. This principally involved creating and testing concepts related to data mining technologies. My dissertation mark was 85% for this study.

• During my academic training I have work with the following computer languages: HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript/jQuery, C, C++, C#, Java, SQL, Prolog, Matlab.• I was taught the ability to search/learn how to build solutions, which improved my flexibility in learning different approaches• Throughout my computer science studies group work has been essential and each course module involved at least one teamwork project. This working methodology improved my programing and teamwork skills• One of my final undergraduate assignments was a large group project. The aim was to develop a web platform and learn how to work as a team. The assignment involved developing a project from start to finish. We had to plan different tasks and distribute them amongst ourselves in order to achieve the best solution. Active team member support was an important part of this project. My course mark was 75% for this assignment.

Responsibilities:• Part of a team developing a web platform for companies to evaluate business performance• The project was developed using a .Net framework (Visual Studio) that involved implementing webpages, a back office component and database• The webpage involved HTML and CSS languages compose their structure • In order to provide a good interaction between the Users and platform, JavaScript/Jquery and Ajax technologies were used to perform simple tasks on the client-side and server-side• I developed part of the database using SQL server
