Due to the worldwide pandemic Stefan was unable to relocate to Sydney for his final rotation in legal at head office. However this hasn't halted his ambition to move forward, due to the circumstance Stefan has been working remotely from Darwin in his final role. Involvement and exposure with supply chain negotiations and disputes.

Stefan's participation of Laing O'Rourke's industry leading Graduate Development Programme has given him the opportunity to develop the essential foundations for a fulfilling career. His third rotation saw him in a engineering delivery role at the Larrakeyah Defence Precinct Redevelopment Project in Darwin.Project details: To provide reliable, flexible, and sustainable infrastructure and facilities to address current deficiencies and risks and to enhance future Defence capability. The project will upgrade key Base services including power, water, stormwater, sewerage, and information and communications technology to current standards.Role and experience within the engineering delivery space included; responding to technical RFI, reviewing quality (ITPs, datasheets, NCRs, Drawings & Specifications) submissions. Involvement in safety/enviro & construction inspections inspection (FSR & SER), site management and inspection with relevant supply chain parties. Delivering Next Gear inductions (LOR safety management systems) to the supply chain.

Stefan's participation of Laing O'Rourke's industry leading Graduate Development Programme has given him the opportunity to develop the essential foundations for a fulfilling career. His second rotation led him to the Top End in a commercial (quantity surveying/contract administrator) role led him to the $500m circa Larrakeyah Defence Precinct Redevelopment Project in Darwin.Project details: To provide reliable, flexible, and sustainable infrastructure and facilities to address current deficiencies and risks and to enhance future Defence capability. The project will upgrade key Base services including power, water, stormwater, sewerage, and information and communications technology to current standards.Role and experience within the commercial space included; management and assistance with subcontractor payment claims, cash forecasting, account reconciliation, variations valuation and executions, executing & finalising subcontracts, and assistance with commercial reporting.Exposure and utilisation of software programs, essential for the commercial function of activities.

Stefan's participation of Laing O'Rourke's industry leading Graduate Development Programme has given him the opportunity to develop the essential foundations for a fulfilling career. His first rotation in a procurement role led him to the $1.2b circa Osborne North Development Project in Adelaide.The aim of the Project is to provide Build, Test and Integration Facilities and Infrastructure (BTIFI) at the Osborne Naval Shipbuilding Precinct (ONSP) to enable the Commonwealth’s policy objective of design, production, and acceptance into service of a fleet of Future Submarines (FSM).Role and experience within the procurement space included; managing and assisting in tender documents submissions for the tendering process for subcontract packages & material orders as well as pre-qualification & vendor appraisal checks. Exposure and utilisation of software programs, essential for tracking and management.
