In command of the EC and its personnel and daily routine. Existing of participating in several meetings as well as being in charge of all the processes, products and analyses deriving from the EC. In daily routine as during exercises, the input of the EC is of vital importance of the general operation-plan. The EC has to provide the operational and tactical command on a Brigade-level with time critical and decisive information in order to make critical decisions. And also to visualize and depict the limitations for operations and exercises in the field of military intelligence, information, military security and CBRN.

A staffofficer Analyses should provide an intelligence-collection-plan created by and based on gathered and analyzed information in a fast and clear way. Furthermore acting as the subject matter expert on the intelligence level. This also includes providing briefings on a Brigade-level.

Chief of the geospatial branch. Responsible for the implementation of GEOINT within the management branch. One of the core issues is to establish and implement an ArcGIS server in order to share (geo) information. This server makes it possible to (further) collect, manage and prepare (big data) information into new products based on geographical information.

Providing geo related information and analysis for several briefings, reports and assessments. Most of these products are GIS-based. Furthermore, I have been part of, and played an important role (being the subject matter expert on GEOINT) in several bi- and multilateral meetings as well as other international cooperations, seminars and foras.

As Geo-Spatial Analyst (GSA) I had to collect, archive, edit, visualize and share (geographical) information. I have participated in several (international) exercises and cooperations. I have been deployed (ISAF) for 7 months in Afghanistan as GSA. Throughout this period I was the head of a geo-cell working with geosupport and geocollation. One of the task was to collect, prepare and analyze all kinds of (geo) information and the analyzed information was sent in different formats to the commander and staff, as well as to several other partners in theatre.

My duties were judging new plans according to several development plans of municipalities in the region of Utrecht. I also participated in the process of creating an overall development plan for this region.
