• Responsible for civil engineering plan preparation and government approvals, engineering proposals, project management, client and agency review staff communications as well as mentoring staff.• Coordinate with various sub-consultants based on project needs and scopes.• Provide clients with layout options based on local codes and zoning restrictions.• Respond to Construction Administration items such as responding to RFI’s from contractors, visiting sites to ensure civil designs are being implemented as approved.• Assist Clients with permit acquisition.• Prepare company and team responses to public Requests for Qualifications (RFQ) and Requests for Proposals (RFP).• Work with clients includes Richmond Redevelopment & Housing Authority (RRHA) and Better Housing Coalition (BHC) as well as private entities for redevelopment projects within the City of Richmond.• Continue with an excellent professional relationship with clients and the City of Richmond review staff.• Supervise Project Engineer.

• Work with the Site Development Division of the company on projects including K-12 educational facilities, commercial development, apartments, hotels, restaurants, branch banks, worship facilities, and medical office buildings as well as cell tower locations.• Coordinate with local and regional Architectural firms as a primary contact for projects.• Coordinate with County staff and present at associated County meetings in Henrico, Hanover and Chesterfield to assist clients with the permit approval process.• Communicate with clients providing coordination of design, approval related items, and general onsite construction administration items.

Performed site development drafting for institutional facilities such as county schools and detention centers. Worked extensively as an engineering intern with AutoCAD using Softdesk Civil package in the development of project site plans.

Drafting support for airport site plan development, details and master planning. I worked part time while pursuing college degrees.
