I am an extremely hard working and motivated individual who has a passion for the profession. I constantly develop and improve myself by learning and gaining as much experiences as I can, both professionally and outside of work. I am currently head greenkeeper on the West course at Wentworth Golf Club and in the third year studying my FdSc in sportsturf management which I am proud to have been offered an R&A scholarship. A career highlight for me includes a 12 months internship at Augusta National Golf Club where my skills as a greenkeeper were raised, to ensure the course met the required perfection throughout the year and during the 2018 Masters.I am also involved with the BIGGA Surrey and South East committees and through working on these I hope to shape the future of greenkeeping into a more professional industry.From pushing my limits and comfort zones in my career I have now obtained a strong reputation for myself as a young greenkeeper and I am now working on developing my skills even further to continue making a good name for myself. My short term objectives are:Finish my degree with good marks while continuing to improve my knowledge of turfgrass management. Build on my experiences in managing the West course at Wentworth and work on short and long term maintenance plans. Continue to gain experience in golf course renovation/construction projects.

Assistant Greenkeeper East CourseWentworth Club Ltd Apr 2015 - May 2017Virginia Water, Surrey, United KingdomIn my time at Wentworth I continued to gain experience in greenkeeping as well as improving my methods of working to achieve Wentworths "commitment to excellence" aproach to greenkeeping.I also took advantage of the large levels of like minded greenkeepers that make up the whole team to share experiences and techniques with and to build my professional network group.During my time at Wentworth I worked on the 2015, 2016 & 2017 BMW PGA Championship which gave me a huge insite into the amount of work that goes into hosting a tournament in the European tour.I spent the majority of my time working on the East course, but in March 2017 I was transferred over to the West course because of my large skill set. Here I worked on the tail end of the course renovation project. I undertook and managed turfing, drainage and greens maintenance projects, as well as preparing the course for the BMW PGA Championship in May. During the 2017 tournament I collected data form the POGO and Clegg impact hammer which was used to dictate management practices for each day. Data collection is also part of the ongoing practices carried out to maintain optimum turf health and minimise wasteful application of water and chemicals.Nominated for employee of the 2nd quarter 2015 and employee of the year 2015
