Having successfully worked on the handling of the previous Discretionary Grant scheme during the Covid-19 Pandemic, I was seconded to the role of Lead Assessor for the new Additional Restrictions Grant (ARG) scheme. This role included reviewing and checking applications made by fellow assessors to ensure the applicants met all eligibility criteria.I.

My core responsibility was to help promote existing projects and create new opportunities of income generation, for our trade services, through effective marketing campaigns to both our internal and external customers. This included liaising with different Officers and Heads of Service to ensure we were delivering the key messages of the service.

Supported the Business Response Team through the Discretionary Grant Scheme as well as signposting local businesses to other support networks available to them.

Help generate enquiries and traffic to websites of professional businesses, through their Social Media Marketing activity on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. Setting up of initial company pages and accounts to reflect and reinforce a company’s brand, through eye catching cover photos and relevant “About Us” descriptions. Strategically plan and create.
