Stefan has 20+ years of experience in banking and consulting and he has successfully led multiple regulatory and large-scale business transformation programs. He has a proven track record in managing special situations, such as the Lehman Brothers bankruptcy or the Covid-19 pandemic, and he is experienced in complex stakeholder management up to board level. After 5 years with Santander Inhouse Consulting, where he most recently co-led the bank's large-scale restructuring and transformation programme, Stefan is now in charge of Santander's public policy & sustainability activities in Germany. He holds a diploma in business administration from the University of Duisburg-Essen and is a fellow student of ThePower Business School MBA programme. Stefan is a tennis addict and lives with his family in Krefeld, Germany.
