Responsible for the Network and Firewall department of Credit Suisse Luxembourg.Firewall environment based on Juniper technology and a network stretched over two datacenters with Cisco Nexus7000 and Cisco 5000 in the core layer and cisco catalyst 6500, 4500, 3750, 2960 in the distribution layer.Remote branch offices over whole Europe linked to host platform based in Luxembourg.In this role I was primary responsible for the following tasks:Configuration and administration of cisco network components (Nexus 7K, Nexus 5K, Catalyst 6500, 3750 and 2960);Configuration and administration of the firewall infrastructure (Juniper, McAfee);Monitoring of Wide Area Network (WAN) connections to remote locations;Change management of the network and firewall infrastructure;Project lead on fit out of a new building including active (switches, firewall, routers) components as well aspassive (cabling) components;Blueprint development of network fit out and connection of remote locations.
