I love using technology to create something pretty! From early on I had an appreciation for storytelling, art, and music, but I lacked the talent to create anything good by myself. Programming, on the other hand, felt quite natural to me and every time I stumbled into an interesting technical challenge or problem, I found myself being drawn into it, analyzing it from an abstract perspective and dissecting it into pieces.When I played FINAL FANTASY VII for the first time at the age of 12 on the PlayStation, I understood that by leveraging my technical skills, I can help turning stories, art, and music into an interactive medium people like to enjoy.While my career didn't straight-forwardly lead me into the game industry, the visual aspect of designing software has always been a recurring aspect of the projects I've worked on. I enjoyed implementing fancy user interfaces crafted by talented designers. In 2013, I've entered the game industry and spent many hours during my free time learning Unity (as my employer back then used a different engine). My decision to quit my fulltime job and become a freelancer came in 2016. It gave me the freedom to focus on a wider range of technologies and frameworks and take on more challenging projects.In 2019 I moved to Taiwan and set up a branch of my Graz office here.
