I am a professional Para-triathlete from Calgary, Alberta. I was born with bilateral radial club hand and started competing in sport when I was 8 years old. Since I was a kid, I have competed in both able-bodied and para racing in triathlon and running. I have never used my disability as an excuse and always want to challenge myself as much as possible. I want to show young athletes that if you do not set limits for yourself, you can achieve amazing things in life. I am a 2-time Paralympic medalist (bronze Tokyo 2020, silver Rio 2016), 3-time Paralympian, and 6-time Paratriathlon World Champion. Triathlon has been my passion for 16 years and it has taken me across the globe. I have been fortunate to train and compete in 17 countries across 5 continents. I have recently begun competing in Pro Half Ironman competitions against able-bodied athletes and plan to continue to do so in the future. I am a Bachelor of Commerce graduate from the Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary.
