Ensuring Fire Safety Across Multiple SectorsIn my role as a Fire Safety Consultant, I’m committed to safeguarding lives and properties across a diverse range of sectors, including Purpose-Built Student Accommodation (PBSA), Build-to-Rent (BTR), Education, Defence and the Public sector. My work is focused on supporting clients with compartmentation and fire door surveys, as well as managing extensive remediation projects to ensure compliance and safety.Compartmentation & Fire Door Surveys:My team will conduct comprehensive surveys to assess the integrity of fire compartmentation and the condition of fire doors within our clients' buildings. These critical elements are vital in preventing the spread of fire and smoke, providing crucial time for occupants to evacuate safely.Remediation Works:Once potential issues are identified, I lead large-scale programmes of work aimed at bringing entire property portfolios up to a compliant standard. This involves meticulous planning, coordination, and execution to ensure that all fire safety measures are robust and in line with current regulations.Specialisation in Large Programmes:I specialise in managing significant remediation projects that span across multiple buildings and locations. My goal is to bring our clients' entire portfolios up to a compliant standard whilst effectively managing fund holders' budgets. This includes risk rating their passive fire issues and, where necessary, phasing repairs over multiple financial years. Previous project values range from £30K for individual buildings, right up to £15M for entire portfolios. The work I do is driven by a deep commitment to protecting lives and ensuring peace of mind for all stakeholders involved.
